The US/UK/EU/NATO/ have been on a rampage of burning down countries for 30 years across Europe Africa and Asia. A serial chain of wars of aggression against countries and people. In 2014 they rolled their war machine right up inside Ukraine through overthrow of the government and subsequent de facto establishment of NATO in Ukraine. NATO’s military staging platform against Russia in Ukraine is (was) in fact the continuation of one long continuous war against humanity and the attempted “restructuring” of every country that has or has had normal relations with Russia or the Soviet Union.
And why?
Because “the end of history” (Fukuyama)
2015, as anyone who is even minimally literate knows, marked the end, of “the end of history”.
2022 is the end of “the end of history NATO Ukraine project”.
Good thing for Ukraine. Imagine. They can be like Finland. Free. Neutral. Prosperous. Strong. Not part of a hostile military apparatus aimed at Russia, on Russia’s border.
The United States overthrew the OSCE-certified democratically elected government of Ukraine in 2014 in order to turn Ukraine into an anti-Russia military platform controlled from Washington. Such actions are the dreams only of madmen. Watch Dr. Strangelove again. 8 years of exhausting all possible attempts at compromise the Russians received only a fuck you in response and continuous bombing of Donbas for the last 8 years.
You cannot put NATO on Russia’s border. period. That doesn’t make sense to the extremists who rule the west now. But yeah, sure, go ahead keep trying to do that. And keep telling yourself whatever you want as you get the inevitable response.
And of course in addition to what Michael Tracy makes clear in his article, there is also the FACT that the entire combined collective capacity of the United States and NATO military, simply does not have the technical hardware equipment necessary, nor the technology to produce it, to “close the sky” to Russian standoff weapons.
It is only the 30th anniversary of the announcement of the title Hero of the Russian Federation, right after the illegal dissolution of the Soviet Union. One of the reasons for us post-soviet peoples to remember Swan Lake, the ballet, is that it was the only thing playing on loop on Soviet Television while our lands' destruction was in being decided. The collective West has banned Swan Lake too. I'm too tired to put together a cohesive post for you today, but some things are happening that you should be aware of.
First off Russia has now used its Kinzhal ( meaning dagger ) hypersonic missile system to destroy not one, but 62 military targets, mostly arms and ammunition depots. There is no air-defense system currently capable of intercepting them. The West continues its screeching of a supposedly desperate Russia trying to show off, while Russia simply reports its operations removing military targets. Also what good is a cutting edge weapon if it hasn't been live tested?
Russia's UN ambassador Vasily Nebenzya has now publicly presented evidence to the United Nations Security Council about the US funded biolabs in Ukraine. Here is what he had to say : "Among the documents we have shared this morning, you can see one called the Technical Assistance plan signed by its recipients in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. I recommend you look through this document very carefully as it confirms the Pentagon's direct funding and supervision of Military and Biological projects in Ukraine. The total funding accounted for 32 million dollars. Money which went directly to a number of Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Laboratories."
Of course Nabenzia anticipated flat-out denials by his US counterparts, dismissing this hard evidence as Russian Propaganda as they routinely do. But the world cannot ignore hard evidence ( signed by US officials ) that have gone on to cause severe health effects in Ukraine. The US did not respond with anything tangible.
In other news Syria's Bashar al-Assad has now been invited to talks in the United Arab Emirates, for the first time in 11 years. The only proper word to use for such a meeting is historic. The first visit to an Arabic state since the beginning of the dirty war against the man. Western, and Eastern analysts are speculating what this might mean, and I can do no better for now. I am glad to have taken the time three days ago to report on the ongoing regime-change war in the country based on Richard Medhurst’s excellent reporting. But wouldn't it be nice to see a New Arab League emerge?
Finally a follow-up about the Chinese-US virtual summit that I neglected or failed to see yesterday. Chinese readouts now make it clear that Xi Jinping told bobblehead Joe Biden to his face that during their last virtual summit all kinds of commitments were made by Joe, specifically on Taiwan and other issues, but the United States has not acted on any of these assurances. What I neglected to see was that the Chinese readout notes that upon hearing the same assurances being given once more, Xi said he noted that and took it extremely seriously, but nonetheless remained concerned that the US was not acting in accordance with these promises.
Now, that is as close as one can get in a diplomatic discussion to stating that the other side is acting in bad faith. That is what Xi's comments to Biden amount to. Saying one thing on the topic of Taiwan and meanwhile doing the opposite. Just as they have been doing with Russia in the months leading up to the current conflict in Ukraine. They are acting in a hostile manner. This is serious news, because it means that far from this discussion leading to long-term improvement of Chinese-US relations, on the contrary, all the facts and deeds suggest the opposite.
I'd like to add - and this can be no-coincidence - that at the same time there is a "report" floating around Western media of a supposed Russian whistleblower producing a "leak" of Chinese plans to attack Taiwan in the autumn. I give no credence to this report whatsoever. I don't believe such a plan was ever in motion, but obviously the Chinese do not share their plans with me. Regardless, I think the fact the US media is saturated with this story I am sure has reinforced Chinese suspicions that the Americans are stringing them along, while acting in bad faith.
I am sad to say that my ( speculative ) opinion is that a big confrontation between China and the US is coming. One that may eclipse the one we have just seen between the US and Russia over Ukraine. I don't know what this will look like and I desperately hope the world, and principally the West can alter course before it manifests.

Nobody touches Gagarin.
They've gone too far this time, they have p*ssed me off greatly. So much for a restful Sunday, brothers and sisters. A space conference held in honor of famed soviet cosmonaut colonel Yuri Gagarin has been renamed "in light of current events". My Yura, the son of collective farmers, the brightest smile in all of the Soviet Union! The very first man in the Cosmos, and he always will be. Millions of Russians and Eastern Europeans who grew up adoring this man will remember and resent this forever. I am only one among millions, perhaps billions of us. Gagarin will live in our memories for thousands of years after the last man who read anything I have written is dead.
I am so livid typing these lines, I’m doing breathing exercises to calm myself. This isn't just colossal stupidity, and a brazen attempt to revise history - an ancient Western practice - while it is both, and also a deep insult, I would call this evil - a word I rarely use - as evil as shelling kids in the Don basin.
In Russia, the Ministry of Defense has announced an imminent plan of attack by Nationalists on US diplomats in Lviv / Lvov. I do not - at the time of writing - have access to RIA Novosti, where the original publication was made by Igor Konashenkov, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Search indexes show it is also on RT, which I also can't access but nothing has appeared on TASS yet. So I am forced to rely on third-party, and hostile citations.
According to Konashenkov : "I want to stress that the government of the Kyiv regime is informed about the nationalists’ plans but is not taking any measures to prevent their implementation. The nationalist regime in Kyiv plans to present the attack on the US, and other Western countries’ diplomatic targets as a ‘targeted attack of the Russian Armed Forces."
I don't know what to do with such news without reliable access to authoritative sources, so please don't say that I am claiming a fact here. I will only say that it smells just desperate enough to be true, but you should be aware of its existence and treat it with a great degree of skepticism.
In Geneva, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Tianyong has now urged the United States - and according to some reports Australia and Canada - to stop the human rights violations against the people of Venezuela. Washington’s bluff has now been called, and the Dragon is now moving.
In his words "The United States has taken many illegal unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela, which is typical power politics and acts of bullying. These measures have caused major obstacles to the Venezuelan people's livelihood and seriously undermined the Venezuelan people's human rights, including their rights to subsistence and development. If the United States truly cares for human rights as it purports to, it should immediately stop the unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela, stop interfering in the country's internal affairs and violating the rights of the Venezuelan people" - reports CGTN.
The two worst ideas in the world are and always have been : Attacking Russia, and bluffing China. They remember the marks of the british boot on their backs, and they will never ever return under them. And they recognize the marks on the backs of people all over the world, the marks of the United States Boot. They are not just standing still like a brick wall now. They have reached their limit, and are actively moving against them.
In the famed democracy known as Ukraine, the presidential clown known as the Zeller just very democratically banned a total of eleven opposition parties. France has frozen - stolen - assets of the Central Bank of Russia in the amount of € 22 billion. Germany is introducing speed limits to cut their oil use, while the International Energy Agency goes further, recommending Car-free Sunday, and Work from home up to three days a week. This is how they are facing the crisis they have engineered. Hooray for Western bourgeois democracy, freedom, and rights! Three cheers.
