The author shared his article on facebook and, as is usually the case, someone smarter commented. I added my comments agreeing with the commenter:
BL, you are so right on target. I love all of your comments here. Like I said before, I figure the best reply I can make, to idiots like this, is to tell about myself, what's worth doing for me, what I have to offer the world.
First, when corruption comes around as obvious as a parade of fire-breathers and jugglers, lions and tigers and sword swallowers, with trumpet blasts and marching elephants up my driveway and through my house — well, the thing is, I just don’t believe in corruption, I’m a corruption atheist, a corruption non-believer, so I just call that parade SCIENCE, like I’m instructed to call it.
That’s my contribution. Where science is Frankensteined, where a DEBAUCHED CARNIVAL OF RACKETEERING, a VERITABLE ORGY OF ORGANIZED CRIME, a monstrosity, marches through town and every town, trumpets blaring calling itself SCIENCE, then I cheer that and salute SCIENCE!

Everyone else is an anti-vaxxer. I myself, am about 60+ injections behind the now normalized CDC vaccine schedule. I’m a walking talking embodiment of extreme vaccine hesitancy, but who cares? YOU are an anti-vaxxer. I’m on the side of SCIENCE.

I live in the same small country as this cherry-picking idiot (his cherry-picked ‘references’) and I LOVE what you say about scientific consensus. This country in 2019 had the lowest age-adjusted mortality rate in the last 120 years going back to 1900. In 2020, mortality rebounded a bit, bumping it up to the 7th LOWEST mortality rate since 1900.
113 of the prior 120 years had a HIGHER mortality rate than 2020.
The conclusion about that, the consensus of real science, said that all eleven million people here, and every blade of grass, should be injected 2 times, and since then 4 more times. And I mean, of course! What other alternative would there be?
And why would anyone doubt such a conclusion? I mean, it is so obvious. And it is backed up by a HUMONGOUS CONSENSUS!
You'd have to be a MORON to think there would be any other thing to do. It just amazes me. I know it shouldn't. So many people, yeah, especially Christians, are stupid about SCIENCE.
How is it possible? People are so much stupider than I’d realized before.
People evidently are so dumb, I'm very sad to say, that I think we are all doomed.

The video that BL (the commenter) shared about John Campbell is a beautiful exemplar of the very very very very best of internet video. I LOVE it. I am looking for my fucking chair now. Excited. Let me explain. Anyone who doesn't appreciate the literate POWER of this video is just too dumb to live. It's pointing out, throughout, the valor and value of "the science communication community".
It gently reminds of the pervasive stupidity of ubiquitous idiots who are so easily lead to believe that corporations, and powerful people in general, conspire to promote and extend their interests. I could go on and on about the greatness embodied in this video. But I cut short with just one more thing:
Aesthetically, a masterwork, delivered in easy cadence, and in (male) NPR vocal fry. What greater signifier of intelligence is there in this world? I should rest my fucking case here but in summary:
Conspiracy theorists are brain dead. Fools' fools. Anti-vaxxers. GTFOH!!!
And those corporate RCTs trashing ivermectin are a slam dunk case-closed bottom of the ninth touchdown 4th quarter grand slam. And the existence of other studies? Not mentionable of course.
